INTA Unreal Campaign – student engagement sessions

Our Partner Rachna Bakhru successfully conducted a session at University of Petroleum and Energy Studies (UPES), Dehradun on 12th August 2021 at 12pm (IST). It was an interactive session which was not only attended by students from law but by students and faculties from sciences as well. The session took place for around 1hr 30mins which was followed by questions and answers round. The campaign was attended by almost 85-90 students from different streams. The students had different queries related to legal remedies available to the consumer if the consumer unintentionally buys a counterfeit product. We also came across some interesting questions like can the consumer directly approach the company if they come across counterfeit product? Is the purchaser held accountable for buying counterfeit product? Students were more inclined towards learning about the rights and remedies available to the consumer. Overall, it was a good session.
