Our Associate Girish Bhatia was invited by Indian Lawyers Association Sonipat Chapter to conduct a session on Non-Conventional Trademarks. The session took place for around 1hr on 19th November 2021 which included the PPT presentation followed by the question and answers round. It was attended by students, teachers and lawyers with different specialization. The session included difference between conventional and non-conventional marks and the legal position of non-conventional marks not only in India but in different jurisdictions. The session was an interactive session where the audience was interest to learn about the challenges that companies and Registries are facing in registration of the non-conventional trademarks.
