The International Trademark Association’s (INTA) Anti counterfeiting South Asia Subcommittee and the Cell for IPR Promotion and Management (CIPAM) jointly conducted a series of webinars on “Awareness on Anti-Counterfeiting and Enforcement in the Wake of Covid-19 Disruption in India” on June 24, 2020. The three part series was a interesting string of topics and discussion ending with the final Part III – Practitioner’s Perspective. Our Managing Partner, Mr. Ranjan Narula was one the panellist amongst distinguished speakers from the Intellectual Property fraternity in India. The discussion was focussed on the growing menace of counterfeiting and the challenges that IP owners are facing in curbing counterfeiting and enforcing their rights in light of the current pandemic sweeping the globe. The webinar was attended by legal practitioners and brand owners from diverse verticals.
