We are pleased to announce that Ms. Rachna Bakhru, Partner at RNA, Technology and IP Attorneys, recently conducted an insightful session during the Intellectual Property Summit organized by NIF and NiFientreC in association with MSME DFO, Ahmedabad on the occasion of World IP Day, 2024 -“IP and the SDGs: Building Our Common Future with Innovation and Creativity”. Ms. Bakhru spoke on some interesting topics like importance of brands, unconventional trademarks, protection and enforcement of trademarks, and anticounterfeiting. She also took the audience through International Trademark Association (INTA) Unreal Campaign which is designed to spreads awareness about the dangers of purchasing counterfeit products which is in line with United Nations SDG 12 Responsible Consumption and Production. She explained as to how the purchase decision of the consumer impact the environment as well as the community. At last, she highlighted on the side effects of counterfeit products on the land and also how they affect the chain of recycle or reuse
