INTA Unreal Campaign – student engagement sessions [26th February 2022]
Our Associate Partner Daleep Kumar and Associate Girish Bhatia conducted a session on February 26th, 2022 at HR College of Commerce and Economics, Mumbai. It was a very interactive session with the students from Economics and Commerce backgrounds and the faculties. The session lasted for around 1hr 20mins which was followed by questions and answers. The session was attended by in total 75 enthusiastic students and faculty members. The students were excited to learn about the trademarks and the business side of registration of trademarks. They also came across some interesting questions like how to change mentality of buying a first copy since its available at a cheaper price. Why brand owners add a cost to the product when they have to sell the same at a discounted price after few months. One interesting question that they came across was some companies themselves allow infringers to sell first copy or counterfeit product then how one can detect such brands.
