Ranjan Narula is the founder and managing partner of RNA, a specialist IP law firm established in 2004. Under his leadership, the firm has built a strong reputation for its expertise in intellectual property law and has been involved in various high-profile cases. With 30 years of experience, Mr. Narula has handled both contentious and non-contentious IP and technology issues across India and the sub-continent.
Professional Qualification
B.Sc (Industrial Chemistry) from Delhi University, LLB, Post graduate Diploma in Business Administration (Delhi University).
Professional Experience
Mr. Narula has worked both in-house and in private practice, including heading the India operations of an international IP law firm. He has been practising as an advocate and patent attorney since 1991 and has handled over 500 IP cases. Mr Narula regularly provides strategic advice to International and Indian companies on complex IP and Technology issues related to licensing, acquisition and enforcement of IP rights.
Leadership and Recognition
In 2019, Mr. Narula was invited to join the INTA Board of Directors for a three-year term. He serves onseveral committees addressing IP issues affecting businesses and consumers. Mr. Narula has been consistently ranked as a leading IPpractitioner by various leading legal publications including Chambers, WTR 1000, Managing IP, Asia IP, who’s who legal and others.
