Our Senior Associate, Girish Bhatia, was recently invited to deliver a guest lecture on Emerging Trends in Intellectual Property (IP) at Aishwarya College of Education (Law). During the session, he explored the growing concerns surrounding artificial intelligence (AI) and its impact on IP rights. He discussed the evolving global jurisprudence on AI, examining how different jurisdictions are addressing issues such as AI-generated inventions, copyright protection for AI-created works, and the challenges of attributing authorship and ownership. The lecture provided valuable insights into the legal and ethical implications of AI in the IP landscape, highlighting the need for adaptive legal frameworks in response to technological advancements.
